2020 PAR 3 GRAND DERBY RULES OF PLAY

FRIDAY - 6PM SHOTGUN

 

DERBY FORMAT

• 10 Qualifying Teams from Thursday - - - 6 Hole Team Net Alternate Shot
• All holes will utilize #1 Green and Various Tee Locations
• Teams will decide which partner tees off on the 1st Hole of Play and players continue to alternate shots the entire way.
• Summer Rules
• The highest net score(s) on each hole will be eliminated

 

TIES: In case there is a tie on a hole, all teams in the tie will compete in a chip-off. Both team members will hit a chip from the designated spot, with the best chip of the two counting for the team. All other players involved in the chip-off must turn their backs. The team that is furthest away after the chip-off is eliminated. Player’s may place their ball within 2 club-lengths of the designated chipping area, NO NEARER THE HOLE.  Chips must come to rest on the green to count.

 

PUTTING– Once all golf balls are on the green, the group will use “Inside-Out, Continuous” Putting method (Until 2 Teams remain). Closest team putts until their ball is holed and process is continued until all teams have finished.

 

NATIVE GRASS – Play as penalty area

 

The last team standing after 6 Holes will be declared the
